Maggie Gill–CEO of Memorial Health Announces Partnership with Eon Health

The ever resourceful CEO of Memorial Health–Maggie Gill–is at it again: She has partnered up with a plan provider that shares Memorial Health’s belief in quality preventative care as well as exceptional healthcare service. Details of the partnership follow:

 

Medicare beneficiaries in Southeastern Georgia welcome the New Medicare Advantage plan of Eon Health. MUMC has partnered with the well-established healthcare provider in providing the plan to their client-base. The plan is exceptional in that it offers zero-dollar premiums as well as pharmaceutical benefits with decreased co-pays.

 

The healthcare provider’s plans are available to beneficiaries in Chatham and Bryan counties in Georgia. The plan is also available to persons in South Carolina who reside in the counties of Beaufort, Jasper, Colleton and Hampton. The plan was available on January 1, 2017.

 

The benefits are tremendous, applicable to the plan. Following is a list of what the recipient may expect to receive:

 

1) Reduced co-pays in the way of primary care visits and visitation to specialists;

 

2) Hospital benefits,

 

3) The plan participant does not require a referral in order to see a provider within the network;

 

4) A transportation benefit is available on certain plans;

 

5) The SilverSneakers Fitness program;

 

6) Dental care,

 

7) The plan covers OTC pharmaceuticals on a monthly basis;

 

8) Hearing benefits are provided;

 

9) A member rewards program is available

 

Maggie Gill, Memorial Health’s CEO made mention of the fact that her team at Memorial Health is pleased to work in cooperation with the healthcare provider—Eon Health—in assuring their patients live healthful lifestyles. Ms. Gill further mentioned that attaining appropriate levels of healthcare was important to MUMC.

 

The President and CEO of Eon Health is Dr. Austin lfedirah. He agreed with Ms. Gill. He stated that both organizations, Eon Health and Memorial Health, were dedicated in assuring the population, as a whole, was one that was healthier. He conveyed that Memorial Health and Eon Health believed in preventative care; and this sharing of similar beliefs served as a good match.
